CDA Fridge-freezer · your observations
Two compartments can give different accounts.
Record the fridge and freezer separately, including warnings and visible changes. This guide concerns suitable conventional domestic work. American-style, side-by-side and sealed refrigerant-circuit enquiries are outside our service.
A shared cabinet does not make the symptoms identical
Give the fridge result and freezer result separately. A warning on one compartment, frost in another and a change in door closure are different observations. Suitable work is checked against the actual conventional domestic model.
The fridge and freezer no longer agree
Retain each compartment’s reading or warning. The difference can frame a control, airflow or defrost discussion. It does not confirm a refrigerant failure, and sealed-system work is excluded.
Liquid is visible outside its usual route
Describe the first visible location and the stage of operation. Do not move connected equipment to trace a leak. Stop use where water approaches electrical parts or waste begins to back up.
When the display remains normal
Keep the visible display and actual behaviour in separate sentences. A familiar-looking panel can remain illuminated even when the selected function produces a different result.
When ordinary results vary
A brief note of settings and outcomes already observed can make variation easier to explain. One good result does not settle a recurring enquiry.
Reading the CDA label
Keep the full installed CDA designation, the actual product type and the existing control arrangement. This name identifies an enquiry route; it does not establish current manufacture, parts stock, replacement compatibility or acceptance of every product.
Discuss the proposed work
Call 0800 037 4915 with the model and sequence of events. Suitable work, charges and a Monday–Thursday appointment are checked for the individual request.
