Did the programme finish, or just stop?
Identify the dryer format and describe the laundry at the end. A timed programme, a sensor programme and a drum that does not turn are different starting points. Note whether the clothes were warm, cold or still damp.
The drying format belongs in the model account
Vented, condenser and heat-pump dryers handle moisture differently. State the actual format rather than guessing from appearance. Ordinary sensing or drive enquiries must not be confused with excluded heat-pump sealed-system work.
A message, number or symbol appears
Copy every character and preserve letters, zeroes and punctuation. The meaning depends on the exact product. A similar-looking warning on another appliance is not a reliable component diagnosis.
Liquid is visible outside its usual route
Describe the first visible location and the stage of operation. Do not move connected equipment to trace a leak. Stop use where water approaches electrical parts or waste begins to back up.
When a model ending is missing
Explain what is known and what cannot safely be seen. Do not substitute a similar online product number or remove equipment to make the reference look complete.
When replacement is being considered
Discuss the existing unit and connections first. Similar appearance, dimensions or a shared badge cannot by themselves establish a compatible replacement.
Reading the LG label
Keep the full installed LG designation, the actual product type and the existing control arrangement. This name identifies an enquiry route; it does not establish current manufacture, parts stock, replacement compatibility or acceptance of every product.
