Washing machine · your observations
Was it the wash, the emptying or the final spin?
Begin with the stage you recognised, rather than the part you suspect. A drum holding water and an emptied drum with wet laundry need different descriptions. Keep the programme, door status and exact warning with your full model reference.
Why drainage and spinning are separate
Many machines will not proceed to the final spin while water remains. Say whether it emptied, whether the door unlocked and what the panel showed. Those observations help keep a drainage enquiry separate from a drive or load-balance question.
There is water left before the spin
Keep visible water, the locked-door status and any warning together. Drain path, pump or level information may need assessment, but the retained water does not distinguish them by itself. Never force the door.
Liquid is visible outside its usual route
Describe the first visible location and the stage of operation. Do not move connected equipment to trace a leak. Stop use where water approaches electrical parts or waste begins to back up.
When entry needs another person
Keep the person authorising work and the person providing access clear. A locality name alone cannot establish permission, fitted access or the proposed visit arrangement.
When several functions are mentioned
List each function and whether it responds. This avoids losing a specific heating, movement or drainage observation inside the phrase that the whole appliance is broken.
At your Wallington address
Give the full service postcode and describe the actual fitted access in Wallington. SM6 is a broad postal reference. This guide does not establish a separate branch, service boundary or agreed attendance.
Discuss the proposed work
