Tweeny Food-waste disposal · your observations
The useful name may be underneath the sink.
Read the motor-unit label if safely visible, not just the sink badge. Keep the existing switch, air button or stopper arrangement with the account. Humming, leaking and stopping are observations; none alone establishes a replacement component.
Identify the motor rather than the sink range
Sink, tap and disposer names can differ. The accessible motor label, operating control and existing connected arrangement help identify the installed unit. This guide does not specify a replacement or approve new installation work.
A hum replaces the normal running sound
Stop running the disposer. A restriction or motor-related enquiry needs the actual model and control arrangement. Never reach into the chamber with hands or tools, even to show what you think is caught.
A different sound starts during use
Describe the sound and its timing: at selection, during movement or at the end. Stop use for smoke, burning or uncontrolled movement instead of running another demonstration.
When a model ending is missing
Explain what is known and what cannot safely be seen. Do not substitute a similar online product number or remove equipment to make the reference look complete.
When entry needs another person
Keep the person authorising work and the person providing access clear. A locality name alone cannot establish permission, fitted access or the proposed visit arrangement.
Reading the Tweeny label
Retain the Tweeny model and whether the installed unit uses a switch, air button or stopper control. The enquiry concerns the actual existing disposer, not a claim that a matching new unit is available.
At your Sanderstead address
Give the full service postcode and describe the actual fitted access in Sanderstead. CR2 is a broad postal reference. This guide does not establish a separate branch, service boundary or agreed attendance.
Discuss the proposed work
Call 0800 037 4915 with the model and sequence of events. Suitable work, charges and a Monday–Thursday appointment are checked for the individual request.
