Caple Fridge · your observations
A reading and a time make a clearer cooling account.
Keep an actual safely visible temperature reading where available, together with its time and the door’s normal closure. Describe visible frost or a warning. A warm cabinet does not by itself establish a compressor or refrigerant fault.
Use the visible information rather than a refrigerant guess
The set temperature, actual display and safely available reading are different details. Retain them accurately with their times. The website does not offer compressor replacement, regassing or any sealed refrigerant-circuit work.
The fridge is warmer than its usual setting
Actual readings and times can help where safely available. Describe door closure and visible frost. Suitable fan, control or defrost enquiries differ from excluded compressor and refrigerant-circuit work.
The panel is dark, or the buttons do not respond
These are separate observations. Note which lights or displays remain visible and any interruption you already know about. Leave electrical housings shut; an enquiry does not require live testing.
When the display remains normal
Keep the visible display and actual behaviour in separate sentences. A familiar-looking panel can remain illuminated even when the selected function produces a different result.
When the last user is someone else
Ask for their description of the selection and outcome where possible. Retain what was actually observed rather than replacing it with a guessed component name.
Reading the Caple label
Keep the full installed Caple designation, the actual product type and the existing control arrangement. This name identifies an enquiry route; it does not establish current manufacture, parts stock, replacement compatibility or acceptance of every product.
